Music Video Stars
Got invited to participate in the making of a music video! Bunch of us too a ride out and back from Canyon Lake while a video crew filmed. They had mini-helicopters, GoPro cameras mounted and hard location cameras set up all along the route. Very cool run. Late breakfast with the Desert Datsuns crew from Phx after. Good times!!

Good times just keep rolling along for the Datsun Southwest crew!! Ran up to Roosevelt lake with some of the Desert Datsun guys. Enjoyed a nice pit stop in Superior and ended up at a Car show in Mesa. No issues with the cars, great weather, great friends and the beautiful Arizona scenery. Life is good!

Recent Events
We've had a couple very cool runs through the Southern part of Arizona. The first was down through Sonoita Az to Patagonia and then back for a delicious BBQ at the Hawley-Datsun Southwest compound in Sahuarita. This trip provides a lot of curvy, hilly mountain roads to carve with our Datsuns. We were even able to find the mythical, widebody "Fisher Beast" tucked into an overgrown grassy hideaway! More on that to come!
Our second trip was to the Old West town of Tombstone Az. Again, lots of curvy mountain roads for our asphalt carving pleasure! Upon arriving to the town, we took a stroll around all the old buildings and witnessed an authentic, historically accurate Old West gun fight! We asked if we could take pictures of our cars on the main street but alas, we were denied. Not to be defeated, we waited for the local 'real' lawman to depart. Once he was gone we devised a plan to get pictures by just stopping at the intersection in front of the general store. Ha! Can't stop a Datsun crew, only hope you can contain them!!
Our latest adventure to us from the Titan Missile Museum in Green Valley Az to the San Xavier Mission in Tucson and finally out to Kitt Peak National Observatory. Again, good, curvy mountain roads to test our cars and our nerves! The 240z we've been working on for the last couple months was finally able to make it's maiden voyage! Good times!
See you at the next one!!
P.S. Welcome back Cody! Thanks for your service!!
